A great contract role to work with a global data analytics consultancy working on a consumer analytics/ marketing insight project for a leading international brand.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for junior-level Insights Analyst to work with a major brand to help them understand their business challenges and translate data-driven insight into actionable, intelligent proposals.
- 2-4 years' FMCG/CPG analytics experience
- Up to £275 per day - Outside IR35
- January start! 6 months initially
- Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in central London
Key Responsibilities
- Manage advanced shopper analytics capabilities for a global product.
- Lead and be accountable for an analytical work-stream
- Partner with global and local key business stakeholders; understand their challenges, formulate business problems & use case, validate hypothesis through small scale experiments, translate insight to action that bring additional value to business
- Proficiency in business analytics, experienced in translating the model outcomes into insights/ business terms via strong understanding of the various statistical techniques
- Shape and prioritise backlog, utilising business expertise to build user stories & set acceptance criteria
- Work with business stakeholders, DevOps, Data Science and Data engineers to develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy.
- Collaborating with functional experts and technology teams on an ongoing basis to ensure quality delivery for the global digital transformation program
- Ensure knowledge and best practices sharing across segments and markets to ensure reusability and improving analytical maturity
What we're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, and related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Overall, 2-5 years of experience; Minimum 2 year of experience in business analytics preferably in FMCG
- A must with proficiency in Project Management
- Experience or knowledge of Shopper marketing and its related data sources, specifically SAP, Salesforce, Retailer data platforms, 3rd party tools (e.g. Kantar, Dynata, Nielsen, IRI) is preferred, but not mandatory across all data sources mentioned
- Experienced in generate actionable business insights via advanced data analytics.
- Skilled at building and managing relationships, including stakeholder management and cross functional team collaboration.
- Preferably to have experience in developing analytical models using multi variate regression and build machine learning algorithms using data science experience
