In order to support business demands and to alleviate some pressure of the current team, we are looking for a Data Architect to support a number of workstreams in relation to the overarching integration strategy.
You will be working as an Entasis Partners Associate for an initial 6 months engagement with outcome based deliverables.
Key Activities
- Provide architectural leadership for Integration using experience to evaluate and improve existing solutions.
- Drive decision-making processes to align with business priorities and objectives related to key architecture solutions.
- Drive architecture governance and process improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for evaluating the architectural solutions and identifying solution options together with the IT strategy, the IT architecture team, project portfolio management, Integration, Data and the application and infrastructure delivery teams.
- Support, direct and review engineering teams and build artifacts to ensure quality and consistency. Work closely with technical delivery teams to spot miscommunications and errors early.
- Produce relevant architectural artefacts to support strategy and projects.
- Work with stakeholders to analyse, discuss, and prioritise solutions.
- Keep information in the architecture tool accurate to achieve transparency on baseline and target architectures.
- Proactively follow and communicate architecture principles and policies.
ABOUT YOU:
- Digital Engineering experience (Integration Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Engineer, etc.) with strong knowledge of a multitude of systems.
- Experience of defining integration architectures across enterprise systems, including HR and Finance.
- Experience with ETL, API-Led and Event Driven technologies, complex integration architecture and models.
- A strong grasp of development for MuleSoft Runtime in MuleSoft Studio.
- Experienced in writing and understanding JSON Schema definitions and data mapping. Experienced with Dataweave, Python, JSON and XML.
- Knowledge of and experience of data cyber security and legal regulations such as GDPR.
- Knowledge of and experience with Integration technologies including MuleSoft and awareness of Informatica PowerCentre.
- University (Bachelors) degree and/or equivalent knowledge through experience.
- Demonstrated leadership in integration roles is essential. Experience in an architectural role is ideal.
- Good knowledge of enterprise IT industry technology trends and comfortable with technical detail/concepts.
- Strong demonstrated engagement (independent, assumes responsibility, self-motivating).
- Very good written and spoken communication skills (Ability to clearly explain and justify ideas when faced with competing alternatives).
- Very strong Stakeholder Management skills (including, Senior Management, Finance, IT, etc.).
