Scaled Agile (SAFe®) Scrum Master - (Manufacturing/IoT)
- Up to £650 per day - OUTSIDE IR35
- Duration: 9 months initially
- Hybrid working (1 day per week onsite)
We are working exclusively with a global manufacturer who are embarking on an enterprise-wide IT transformation programme which will revolutionise the way the organisation interacts with its suppliers and customers. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAFe® Scrum Master to join this exciting programme to enable the agile team in its SAFe® adoption, facilitating them to also learn a variety of Lean techniques/tools to improve the flow of value in delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the manufacturing and/or IoT industries.
What you will be doing?
As a SAFe® Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the successful execution of agile development process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help them embrace Agile values and apply the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) principles. You will also be expected to collaborate effectively with Release Train Engineers within Agile Release Train teams.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily scrums, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
- Forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks, with a focus on Scrum and SAFe®.
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers to align teams to the common technical and architectural vision of the solution.
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur during the project.
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint.
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity.
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product.
Skills required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Scrum Master in complex enterprise-wide IT transformation programmes.
- Good knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) is a must.
- Proven experience collaborating with Release Train Engineers within Agile Release Train teams.
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and mentoring skills.
- Scrum master certification.
- Having experience of working within the Manufacturing and/or IoT sectors will put you at a distinct advantage to other candidates.
